Op weg naar huis werd ik -voor de zoveelste keer- verrast door de schoonheid en magie van die 10.916 kilometer grote glimmende knikker die op 384.450 kilometer van ons aan het firmament schittert.
Drie-honderd-vier-en-tachtig-duizend-vier-honderd-vijftig kilometer ver …
Tien-duizend-negen-honderd-zestien kilometer groot …
Snel even rekenen leert mij dat ik op mijn D300 een dikke 800mm tele zou moeten monteren om “Luna de plata” beeldvullend op de sensor te krijgen. Woohooo … eindelijk een geldige reden gevonden om die Sigma 300-800 op mijn kerstlijstje te zetten 
In afwachting van Rudolfs komst heb ik het dan maar even geprobeerd met het materiaal dat ik ter beschikking heb. Nikon D300 + Nikon TC 14E II + Nikon 300 f/4 AF-S en “een beetje” croppen gaf me volgend resultaat.
